I’m so glad you’re here.

Inside this space you’ll find a quiet place to pause — one rooted in noticing what is still beautiful, still meaningful, still worthy of our attention, among all of life’s seasons.

This blog was born from a desire to encourage others to notice the beauty in their lives and themselves.

I’ve always been someone who notices and appreciates the simple things - dappled sunlight on the grass, the feeling of a cool breeze, the perfect melody of a song — ordinary but sacred moments.

However, at a certain point that noticing became not just a gift, but a lifeline.

Life has shaped me in ways I never could have imagined. Loss has changed the landscape of my heart, but it also taught me something profound: that goodness doesn’t disappear when life breaks us — it simply asks to be seen differently. More gently. More intentionally.

Here, I write from my lived experience. I write about what it means to keep choosing tenderness and offer ourselves grace. You’ll find reflections on gentle living, healing, self-acceptance, creativity, and the sacredness woven into everyday life.

You will also see the tiny shadow that follows me everywhere - my sweet Maizie, who reminds me every day what unconditional love, presence, and loyalty look like.

Life with her has taught me that sometimes Goodness finds us exactly when we need it most. We welcome you in.

There is no expectation here. No pressure to arrive healed or hopeful or put-together. This is simply a place to breathe, to feel, to smile and to remember that your life — exactly as it is — holds beauty and meaning.
